Pirates Stay Perfect at Home, Blank Villanova, 1-0 - SHU Pirates

South Orange, N.J.  - The Seton Hall men's soccer team stayed perfect at home after taking down Villanova, 1-0 On Wednesday night. The Pirates are now 4-1-2 on the season and 4-0-0 at Owen T. Carroll Field.

The Pirates were able to earn their seventh point of the BIG EAST season and move into second place in the East division behind Georgetown. Providence, a team the Pirates will take on Saturday, also has seven points in-conference.
 
Turning Point
The Pirates were on the attack from the start, piling up chance after chance in the first period. Finally, halfway through the first period, the Pirates broke through. A James Boote (Southampton, England) corner found the head of Luca Dahn (Kahl, Germany) who found the head of Paavo Riihijarvi (Oulu, Finland) who found the back of the net to put The Hall up, 1-0.

That goal would be all the Pirates required to stay unbeaten at home this season and pick up the team's fifth clean sheet of the campaign.
