Goalie Emily Johnson recorded a shutout for the Brainerd/Little Falls Warriors who defeated the Buffalo/Maple Lake Bison 3-0 in a Section 8-2A match up Saturday, March 6, at Essentia Health Sports Center in Brainerd.
The Warrior defense gave the sophomore goalie all the support she needed as Johnson was only called on to make six stops. Her counterpart in the Bison net was not as lucky as Brainerd peppered Isabel Varner with 48 shots.
Avery LeMieur scored just 49 seconds into the contest. Molly Pohlkamp added a first-period goal and Emma Booth wrapped up the scoring in the third.
