Senior goalie Lori Huseby of Babbitt had 34 saves to lead St. Scholastica to a 3-0 victory Saturday over Augsburg in a nonconference college women’s hockey game in Duluth.
Kayla Kasel, Rachel Anderson and Emily Sabol provided more than enough offense for Huseby as they scored in the first, second and third periods, respectively, as the Saints (2-0) swept the weekend series from the Auggies (0-2).
Goalies Henry Baribeau and Jake Berger combined on 23 saves for the Tommies while Nick Trenciansky had 25 saves and Michael Talbot scored the lone goal for the Saints on the power play at 15:17 in the third period.
