Foot Locker, Inc. & Champion Partner on “Blank Slate” Platform - RESPECT.

Foot Locker family of brands and Champion have partnered up to launch an ongoing product platform dubbed “Blank Slate.” The platform will feature various product packs and tap notable artists, creators and brands to bring exclusive collaborations to life through a unique lens.   

 

Kicking-off the Blank Slate series is a collaboration with the iconic brand, Sesame Street, nostalgically re-imagined by different creatives. The first drop releases later this month and features contemporary artist, Naturel, interpreting the show’s classic characters. Drawing inspiration from pop art, cubism and surrealism, Naturel is a Maryland-native who has attracted the eyes of many with his impressive work.

“I grew up on that street! Sesame Street taught me colors and how they make other colors. I learned that and so much more,” said Naturel. “I’m now raising my daughters the same way. And now I can tell them that Daddy knows Elmo and his friends!” 

 

The Champion Blank Slate’s Sesame Street x Naturel apparel items will be available in men’s and women’s sizes exclusively at Foot Locker, Footaction and Champs Sports and will range from $35-$115. Hi-resolution imagery is attached to this note for reference (more will be coming next week)! 

 

The second interpretation of Sesame Street is expected to drop in Feb. 2021 and is designed by Jason Freeny.
