“This was a pretty tough game because of the contrasting styles we both play,” said BL head coach Jamie Hughes. “We are more of a methodical attack team that likes to get numbers way up and they are more of a direct counter attacking team. That led to plenty of scoring chances but we’ll take the 4-2 win”
Trey Allen sparked Ben Logan with two goals, Tyler Cabot had a goal and an assist, Michael Rostorfer had one goal, while Kelvin One had two assists and Caleb Epp had one assist.
“I thought we probably could have scored four or five more goals with all the opportunities we had early in the game, but Jackson Center’s style led them to have some good opportunities as well,” said Hughes. “It was a good non-league win over a tough opponent and now we can turn our attention to Indian Lake on Monday as Coach
Vance will have those guys ready to play.”
