HANNIBAL (WGEM) — A Granger, Indiana, man was arrested Tuesday in Hannibal for possession of a forging instrument after officers found him in possession of blank credit cards and a device for making fake credit cards, police said.
Lt. J.M. Grote stated that Rondell Sims, 23, and another male, also from Indiana, were taken into custody after police were called to a report of suspicious activity at a hotel in the 4000 block of Market Street in Hannibal.
Lt. Grote stated Sims and the other male were taken to the police department for questioning. Sims was taken to the Marion County Jail and placed on a twenty-four-hour hold pending charges.
The other male was released.
Lt. Grote stated the 10th Judicial Circuit Court of Marion County issued a warrant for Sims on Wednesday, charging him with Possession of a Forging Instrument.
His bond was set at $10,000.00
